What is Tech? Smartphone Camera Tricks | What is Technology?
Most of us never touch our smartphone camera settings, we just point and click. It works well, but these tips and tricks you’ll need to try will make your photos and videos look more professional.
On iPhones, photos taken in portrait mode rival those of DSLR cameras. Built-in filters for natural, vivid, warm and a few others but to shoot like the pros do, hit the “f”. This allows you to blur the background like you can with a professional camera and lens. Use the slider to select how blurry the background is so the subject stands out.
If you have an iPhone XS or newer, you can adjust the blur after taking the photo. And if it’s an iPhone 13, you get some of the same tools for video using Cinematic Mode.
Hate taking selfies to see everything upside down? In the settings under the camera, turn off the mirror’s front camera. Now when you take a selfie, it’s not going to be upside down, everything is going to look like it’s supposed to.
How many times do you miss recording a video of something amazing because you can’t take out the phone and open the app in time? On a locked screen, press and hold the camera app button. It will open to take a photo, but firmly press the shutter button to start recording video.
There is no need to swipe to find the video option.
If you ever want to get something really high in your shot, switch to panning mode and hold the camera horizontally. Watch this: now move the camera up, before and after. Pretty cool.
If you have an iPhone, Apple holds annual “Shot on iPhone” photo contests, you can find this information at apple.complus free lessons on how to take better photos and videos.
