Save up to $700 on a Panasonic Lumix S5 Camera

There’s no better time than the present to learn a new hobby, especially when the necessary equipment is on sale.
Aspiring shutterbugs can get a Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 camera with or without a lens for up to $700 off retail price.
Enthusiasts might want to swoop in for the full kit, which comes with a base Lumix S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 lens for $1,797.99. If you’re looking for something a little more powerful, Amazon has also reduced the 16-35mm F4 ($3,095.98), 50mm F1.4 ($3,895.98), 70-200mm F4 ($3,295.98) and 85mm F1.8 ($2,295.98) lentils.
Earning a PCMag Editors’ Choice seal of approval, the Lumix S5 basic black weighs about 1.6 pounds (sand lens). It measures 3.8 x 5.2 x 3.2 inches (HWD), with a deep handle and a dust and spill resistant magnesium frame.
The S5 is powered by a DMW-BLK22 rechargeable battery, rated for 440 shots with the LCD and 470 with the EVF. Activate power-saving features to extend life to up to 1,500 photos per charge via USB-C port. Other physical connectors include micro HDMI (for an external recorder or monitor), 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks, and two memory card slots. There is no built-in flash.
DSLRs aren’t just for taking snapshots anymore, however: the S5 internally records regular, slow-motion and fast-motion video in 10-bit quality and can reach 60 fps in 4K. Its 24MP sensor delivers sharp images usable in low and bright light conditions, while offering Raw editing options.
Enjoy spring showers and summer blooms with a Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 mirrorless camera, on sale for $1,497.99 (body only) or $1,797.99 (with base lens kit)— $600 off their respective listing costs.
