This update arrived about a week ago in Bulgaria and I guess worldwide. It didn’t say any of that camera stuff, it was advertised as just a June security update.

That’s excellent news. I am very disappointed with the camera performance of the S22 Ultra which applies too much contrast and sharpness which makes the images look very artificial.

I think Google will be able to do this once all of its phones are powered by the Google-designed Tensor Processor. Now they still have pixel phones with Snapdragon processor. IMO

I’m talking about when you manually check for an update. They always do a seeded auto release, but if you want to have the update right now, you can check manually and it will always show up, like every update, whether it’s a patch or a major update. You can check for updates you want with virtually any Android phone and it won’t even show up. That’s what really pisses me off. I usually don’t like to wait to be “seeded”, I want it on the way out. Whether Windows, Android or iOS. If the company “releases” something, I expect to get it now if I want it. If I don’t care, I would just wait for the automatic update to do its job at all times.

Imagine you have a $1500 phone (S22 Ultra) and they’re like “you’ll get the update in the region where you live eventually”. Not really reassuring. As much as I like Samsung’s long term dedication to software updates, this part is still very bad. Especially since Samsung is not a nameless start-up that lacks resources…

Maybe this week… moreManufacturers generally tend to seed an update to a smaller group of people, see if there are any immediate alarming issues that would require pulling the update, and then make the update more widely available. .

you must suffer, June 10, 2022oh yes 1.7gb for camera updates.. must improve their 108mp oil painting photos they produce🥴🥴even better Mi 11 Ultra I think, (missing only the 3x portrait lens)
