NH man arrested in Salisbury Road Rage incident caught on camera – NBC Boston

A road rage incident this weekend in Salisbury, Massachusetts, led police to arrest a New Hampshire man.
Jacob Gilleo, an 18-year-old resident of Amesbury, said his car was hit by a van driven by Patrick Moge, 22, just before 6 p.m. on Saturday.
“It was a pretty scary experience, I’m not going to lie,” Gilleo told NBC10 Boston.
The incident was captured on Gilleo’s dashboard camera, and he later posted this footage on TikTok.
“The light turned green, I moved forward, and it cuts two lanes of traffic and right in front of me,” Gilleo recalls. “It’s pretty clear in the video, you can see he just cut me off.”
Gilleo said he caught up with Moge on the road to try and swap insurance information after the crash. But that’s when he said things quickly escalated and Moge pulled out a knife.
“I saw he was angry, so I cautiously walked about a foot out of my vehicle, rolled the window down a bit, then as soon as I saw him jump out of the car, still screaming, I got back in my car and called 911,” Gilleo said.
Salisbury Police arrived within a minute and confronted Moge, he said.
A police officer is heard in the video repeatedly ordering Moge out of his truck.
“Did I do something illegal? Moge is heard asking the officer.
Authorities said Moge resisted arrest and was charged with five other crimes, including possession of an open container of alcohol, assault with a dangerous weapon, careless operation of a motor vehicle, speed and disorderly conduct.
Moge was seen limping and told officers he had pain in his knee.
Gilleo feels lucky that the police intervened before things got worse.
“It was pretty terrifying, and I’m glad he only had one foot and didn’t have any other weapons on him,” Gilleo said. “But it was still quite a terrifying experience to see that.”
Moge was arrested on Monday. He had also been arrested two weeks earlier, accused of assaulting a Billerica policeman.
NBC10 Boston contacted Moge’s attorney, but did not hear back.
