Love Island’s Millie Court shares behind-the-scenes secrets – including a secret bathroom camera

Love Island star Millie Court has shared some additional behind-the-scenes info on the show, including details on where some of the cameras are strategically placed.
The 25-year-old, who won last year’s show alongside partner Liam Reardon, spoke openly on her YouTube channel where she answered questions from curious fans.
When asked if there were any rooms where the islanders weren’t filmed, Millie was happy to clarify that there weren’t and mention that there was a camera in the toilet.
She said, “So, no, there isn’t.
“The whole villa, I think it was something like 74 cameras all over the villa.”

The Love Island bombshell added: “There are cameras everywhere you go, there are even cameras in the bathroom and the toilet because obviously you have a private space just for the toilet.
“You have a bathroom and then a separate room where you go to pee and poop and there’s a camera right in front of you like that,” she explained, raising her hand directly in front of her.
However, the star was quick to clarify that the camera located in the restroom is only used for security purposes and that camera footage is not included in the show itself.

She said: “But they say no one is watching it, it’s a security camera. So if anything were to happen, I don’t know if anything happened like you passed out in the toilet, they can look at the camera and see what happened.”
Later, Millie also opened up about how she applied for the ITV show while letting fans know she hadn’t been approached or spotted via social media.
The Love Island winner opened up about the 60-second video she had to send to producers to secure her spot on the show.

Laughing, Millie recalls: “We were in my living room, we set up this backdrop of white sheets. We already had a photoshoot that day and we were like we were filming the first 30 seconds of the video. .
“I was talking 30 seconds, then 30 seconds of a compilation of videos like funny videos of me drunk doing stupid shit.”
Millie then shared part of the clip from the video she sent to producers, including speaking directly to the camera.
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9 p.m.
